Bat Action

Hi guy I am starting a new gun project and had a few question all the guns I have had built before have used trued Remington actions and I was wanting to use a bat action this time .Can I use a .308 bolt face and have the gun smith open it up to a rsaum or wsm case diameter .And do bat action use Remington type triggers.Thanks

It sounds as if you already have this action. If so, I would suggest you call BAT and ask them to make you a bolt body for the mag cases. I did recently and it isn't as expensive as you may think. Plus, with the bayonet firing pin, it's a snap to change them between bolts.

And yes, BAT uses a Remington style trigger.

The Magnum body,no firing pin assembly) for my BAT 3 lug cost me $400.00... If you never want to go to the smaller bolt size it is cheaper to have your existing bolt opened up...... I wanted to use it for a switch barrel so I did the crying.....
