Bat Action Questions

I was planning on another Bat action for a hunting rifle, and have been told that the tolerances are too tight to be reliable. I was infornmed that the slightest amount of dirt or girt will lock up the action tight. Now my 6BRX actioned rifle feels as smooth as a milling machine table. Any idea to this rumor or just one persons opinion.

Michael,
Give Jerry Stiller a call, www.viperactions.com . He's engineering a new line of repeating actions,Spring '05 release) that may just fit the bill. CNC precision, but with increased tolerances for hunters. Also consider the Stolle,Kelbly's) Kodiak actions. It's set up to mag-feed from a Remington-style mag. I'd prefer a steel action over an aluminum action for hunting though.

Thanks I do have my name on the list for one of them. I'm thinking along the lines of a 6BR detachable magazine varmint/ tactical rifle.
