Dusty, is the cone angle of the barrels fitted for Bat DS and the Nuevo different?

Correct. I have three Neuvo Actions, all have a 30 degree cone.
the 25 degree will work on the nuevo but the 30 degree wont work on the ds.

Correct. Sold mine not too long back. Used 25deg from other actions the whole time
Caution- the early DS BAT's had that bronze ring at the forward edge of the action and a lot of gunsmiths threaded the barrels up to that point and only turned the diameter of the rear of the barrel stub to the diameter of that bronze bushing and did not thread it. Not sure when they started threading all of the receiver but actions with S/N of around 200 and lower had this feature.
