Bat action and barrel interchangeability???

First off, i realize that EVERY situation is different......

My intent is to gather info on the rate of success in doing this.

I have my go gauges and will be checking for results in MY situation, i don`t care for getting blown up!!!!

How much luck have you guy`s had in switching barrels to different Bat actions????

I have a barrel threaded and chambered for a "B" action, i would like to put it onto my "SV" action, anyone done this and had NO problems????

It should work, but check your headspace. The only thing I have noticed is I tried a barrel from a B on my DS and the cone depth was not deep enough to screw the barrel on all the way. Might be due to the roller cocking piece...not sure though as I was not the one that chambered the barrel so maybe it was on the tight side to begin with.

So you may want to check your cone clearance also.

Most have no issues with doing it.

I swap barrels between a DS and 2- B's fairly often. Never had a problem. Same smith does all my barrel fitting.

look on bats website- the ones that have the same dimensions should interchange if your gunsmith is any good.
