BAT 3Lug weak ejector… help needed to run em fast on condition

Sounds like someone trimmed the factory spring to the point its too short. What you need is a lighter spring rate that has the necessary travel.

I replaced mine from a brownells compression spring assortment. Went with a lighter spring rate that allows the travel to be reliable. Been working for 8 years now, haha. I can look at what assortment and spring I used if anyone is interested in the info.
I’d be interested in your recipe of springs and assortment if not too much trouble. Never know I might have to revisit this after tomorrow’s outing!

#69 set. I believe I used the .110 spring. Cut a little long and trim to tune.

Nobody wants to say it but you are not the first person to have problems with the combination BR/PPC bolt face.

As I said in my other post, ejecting the BR is no problem. But unless you get everything perfect, problems can crop up with PPC bolt face when cycling the bolt fast.
Jackie, a pal has one. It's a miserable (bleep...bleep...ing) thing with the .445 cases.

When posting about a "combo" boltface having problems ejecting the PPC size case it is best to indicate if it is a sliding plate extractor or a Sako type. I say this because there is a clear difference with the ability of these two types to hold on to the PPC case during ejecting.

Thanks for the advice on how particular to be with my words and actually didn’t think of it when posting the original post but It is NOT a PPC case as I clarified later when asked, it is a 30br with a SAKO extractor.

It is ejecting fine now. Shot 85 rounds in a competition yesterday and they all ejected!

Did you change your spring
I had 2 different size springs, 2 different size plungers, replaced extractor, cut springs, and tried a mismatch of several to finally get it running smoothly. I don’t think it’s a prescribed fix, you just gotta screw around with it until you have the right combination. The key was having an assortment to screw around with to find it. Check out post #14.

Do you have a part no. for this kit? I looked on there website and cannot find it. I am looking for a ejector spring for my old model sv about .120 wide or less.
