bat 1pc base 20moa

i have a bat model b 135 round action would a bat 1pc base with 20moa built in be to much with high burris signature rings& a s111 10/50/60 scope now have kelby rings & dovetail base on it but am changing to a new scope & wanted to use burris zee rings as not to marr up new scope 10/50/60 also was thinking the 20moa base might give me too much in downward ajustment hope im not confusing too much any suggestions on this would be appreciated regards shooter63

I believe with high rings and 60mm objective you would not make it. you would have to have x high rings.

shooter63: I had a Nightforce BR on one of my rifles, Bat SV receiver, heavy contour straight taper, with the 20moa Bat picatinny rail, and because of the heighth of the picatinny, scope objective clearance was never an issue. In fact, sometimes I thought I had too much/ it was sitting higher than necessary with the extra high rings.

Removed that scope & mounted a Leupold Comp Series & had way too much heighth, so switched to the medium rings & they are perfect.

It's very difficult to give a suggestion for scope ring heighth when someone asks the question on this site because so much depends on how high (or "thick") the base mount is. Barrel contour is also a factor.
