This will work for virtually every 103-107gn bullet in a 6BR..I would start about +.012 and work out to -.025”. You should find something in that range
More help?It don't matter, those bullets are MAGIC,and he's fixen to get more help.
Magic?Hey man, just ask Bart,he'll let you in on everything he knows, smart guy.And for those who don't know,Bart has more MAGIC on the way,the all powerful Talisman..![]()
I have on good authority that your new rifle has been giving you fits.I think the solution to the problem would be is to let girlie shoot it to get it worked out.I’ve had good luck with hammers in two different barrels jammed 5-7k. Speeds they seem to like are 2950-2970. This is using a dasher and bra. Could be hard to achieve that in a straight 6br. H4895 seemed to work best followed by varget.
I don’t know about g7 but I’ve been using a g1 value of .530 which seems to line up pretty well with recorded drops to 1k.
this weekend I will be working up a load using the bart’s 105gr hammer.
it will be for a 6br with a 8 twist 30”.
I have two questions. #1 what is the
G-7 bc of this bullet? and #2 seating depth I will start at touching and then step back how much at a time
.005 or .002?
