New 6BR

I got my new 6BR out for the second time today. I now have 60 rounds through it. This is is a 105gr Berger VLD, H4895 (27.5 grains). These are three shot groups. What do I do next with this load? Do I keep working on this load?
Seating depth? Or move on to another load. It could it be human error?6br shooting.jpg

In what order were they shot? Where they shot round robin style ( one bullet into each target then repeat)? Is the one at 6 o'clock the last target shot. Were any scope adjustment made just prior to start of shooting, for instance a windage adjustment just prior to shooting top left target? Did you log each bullet hit as it was shot? Any trends?
Are you shooting a Savage? If so, how were the actions screws torqued? Did they loosen?
The list goes on.....

FWIW: I am shooting the 105 Hybrid and Varget, lapua brass, cci450 out of a Savage (just for fun, no competition) and when I see those changes in groups and know that wind is not the issue, I begin to look for other causes.

The order was three shot per dot: top left, top right and lower center. Yes lower was last. No adjustments make to scope during shooting. Indoor range. Yes each bullet was logged. Top left (My shots): 1. dead center of group, 2. right of center, 3. left of center. Top left (Wife shots): 1. top of group, 2. center of group, 3. bottom of group. Lower Center (Wife shots): 1. Center of group. 2. left of group, 3. right of group. Wife was shooting better than me today.

Try some Varget, +/_ 30 grs. If it does not shoot. Sell it.. Tommy Mc..

+1 on the 30gr of Varget. I tried the Berger hybrids and VLD's as well but my barrel really preferred the plain Berger 105 gr match bullets.

Try the 87 V_max. They will agg in the .2's for me, and will expand as far as you can hit the little varmints. Good luck.:D:D

I don't want to overstate the obvious, but how were your table manners? Did you keep the same hold on the gun for each shot. Same shoulder pressure from the same position or same lack of pressure? If from a rest, the rifle in the same position?

Maybe try another group or two and concentrate on shooting the gun the exact same way for each shot.

A great shooter once told me that up and down is the gun, right to left is the shooter. For the most part I agree. Since you have both, I'd concentrate on bench manners and hot it up a little. But be careful working up. 30.0 varget works good for me but I do have one savage barrel that shows excess pressure signs at < 29 grains of varget.

My Chanlynn barrel 6br liked 30.3 Varget with no pressure shooting
105 VLD's. Try the 107 Sierra in it, My last one liked em a bit better.
