I said I would post first results, here they are, sad but true. After a total of 17 shots fired in load development with s new bullet AND s new powder here is how it went down. I know, never change 2 things at once. But, I can not use that as an excuse, gun shot fine when I was not hard headed. This was a 24 shot match on UBR targets, all at 100 yards. First target was easy, condition held , all solid 11s, feeling good. Just punchin holes man. Second target started getting a bit of a head wind on one of my 3 flags. Minor, other 2 flags the same, hold the same, no shoot a sighter, no too hard headed I know I am still good.....ouch, close but no dot. A 65. Third target shots 3,4, and 5 all tens a tiny bit below the dot, yep never went back to the sighter. So up to the fourth and last target I know I need a good one as I was doing the scoring and several of us were close to one another. Here is that pesky head wind on 1 flag, just a tiny bit, yep 2 a tad low ending in a 64, I know it's not good. I ended up second 1 point behind the winner with a 258 x 264. I have no problem with the bow or the arrows, Indian needs readjusted. So new bullet and powder, Barts 112s and LT 30 look like they will work. So next month is the last 200 yard match for the year, I will try to be a smarter Indian. Full results on Competition page under Anderson Creek Results. Bart thanks for good bullets. For first outing I am happy with everything.....but me.
