Barts 103 Hammers and the little girl that could

I have twins that are 11, a boy and girl. My son has been shooting since he could hold a gun. I started to run a mid range F-Class match in Como, MS. My little girl wanted to try and beat her brother. I got her a stiller tac 30. I was not sure if she was going to hang with it, if not, I could turn it into a hunting rifle. Needless to say she has taken to it and loves it. A huge Thank you her gun smith, Mike Moses, plus Bart with his 103 Hammers. She has been a force to wreaken with. She is shooting high master scores and loves to shoot. Here's a picture of one of her strings.Screenshot_20200627-195914_Chrome.jpg

Alas, my daughter would much rather shoot her bow, than a rifle. Still fun spending time shooting bow with her.

My wife shoots occassionally. But has zero interest in shooting matches. Which is a shame because she seriously outshoots me!
Shooting paper is boring to her. She likes shooting steel, or something else that reacts.
I haven't given up though!
Maybe the long range steel match at Miflin County.

I have introduced her to shooting bowling pins off a table with the 1911.
She enjoys that!

I can relate to your post and how proud you must be. My daughter started shooting with me much later than yours. She took to it like a duck to water. She shot a Screamer at Piedmont today, also with those Bart’s Hammers! Congratulations and great shooting!
