Sunday I was testing a scope along with new rings that I purchased used on Accurate Shooter. NF NXS 12-42 CH-2 reticle and Barrett Zero Gap Rings that are the discontinued 20 / 30 moa adjustable. This model NF only has 45 or so MOA elevation in it. This means that with my 20 moa rail under the scope I would not be able to get down to a 100 yard zero. That is no big deal but I just like to be able to shoot at a fly or ant at 100 Yards on a white paper target. Makes for a nice black carbon smudge when a fly is hit on white paper. The Barrett rings have a pin in front ring to piviot up or down on depending on if the rear ring pin is in 20 or 30 moa hole. So you put the rear pin in the 20 moa or 30 moa hole. So to get a 100 yd zero I took both the front and rear pin out of the adjustment holes. Now I can tilt the scope up to level position and tighten it down. This level position means zero moa in the mounting system and sure enough I was able to get 100 yd zero with about 20 moa elevation available. I bore sighted the scope and first shot was close. Dialed it in and punched out the red dot and first three shot made one hole. That was about 1 o'clock. Three hours later Scott Glover shot another one hole 3 shot group
