Barrel?

Have any of you tried a Bergara barrel on your encores? I was wondering if their any good...from what I understand they are shilen barrels...? Anyone know anything???

Ed Shilen traveled overseas and consulted with them on barrel making. Shilen does not make their barrels. I don't know anything at all about the quality of their barrels.

Blacknwhite go to www.bellmtcs.com. Mike has several articles on his site about the Bergara barrels.

Basicly he says that in his opinion the Bergara barrels are better than what you can buy from Thompson Center at a significant saving.

I have found that Kim and Mike will tell you like it is. They do absolutely outstanding trigger job on the Encore also. The trigger on my Encore is everybit as good as several of my remmys with Jewell triggers installed.
