barrel twist rate for 20AB 20 KB and 20 VT

I need to order a couple of barrels from Kreiger for some upcoming projects and I can't make up my mind. they will be for a 20 ackley bee/ 20 killer bee. my current ones shoot 32gr zmax at about 3600fps. I was going to order 12t. is there any reason to order 11t? any toughts? thanks Jim

and as long as we are talking twist rate, what about 20 vartarg 12t or 11t? same bullet 32 gr zmax

For the 32s a 12 twist is fine but I would suggest a 11 twist just in case you ever want to shoot the 40s. There is no downside to a little more twist.

I'd call Todd Kindler at the woodchuckden.com he is a wealth of 20 cal knowledge and will talk your ear off about that stuff

All my little .20`s have 12 twist barrels, it just matches up with the lighter bullets @ warp speed.....

Once I get to the .20-222AI and .20-223AI size cases I go to the 11 twist for the possibility of the heavier 39-40gr. bullets, the bigger cases push these faster......

As a varmint hunter, I like faster.....
