Barrel thread and crown covers, caps, protectors???

Where are you guy`s getting the caps that you use to protect the crown and threads on your barrels?????


I have a switch barrel rig in process and will be needing to get some.

I bought thread protectors from Sinclair. On the muzzle end, I use a cap for a chair leg - they come in many sizes and you should be able to find one to fit your muzzle.

Be forewarned, forgetting to remove the muzzle cap does get embarrassing. A 284 will throw the cap ~25 yards down range, but the bullet still hits in the 1000 yard target face, albeit a touch low.
