Barrel speeding up

The load I developed for my 6SLR originally was running 2890. After, about 250 rounds it picked up to 2920. I was at the range today and tested it with newly annealed brass and it clocked in at 2945. It also didn't shoot very well. I have noticed some other loads that I have tried seemed to be showing pressure signs sooner than expected. I would assume that the poor performance could be I've moved out of my node, or an off day by the shooter. Are these type of speed gains normal or could I have a carbon ring building?

MOShooter,

A few things can affect speed and induce variations, air temp, a change in any component of a reloading procedure, etc...
Did you document your reloading process for the rounds you sent down range?
Did you document the environmental conditions during your shooting sessions?
To compare apples, you must have apples to compare to, meaning your records of course.

A change in velocity like the ones you have mentioned can definitely put you out of your accuracy node.
Perform maintenance on your rifle, and start again. With accurate records keeping, you will be able to identify the condition you described and identify the cause.
The devil is in the details...
It's a never-ending learning curve!
