A couple of other bedding things...
Action screws should not touch the stock. They should only touch the floor plate or escutcheon, and trigger guard and action. There should be clearance between them and the stock. Another thing is that there should not be any vertical surfaces that are bedded so as to create secondary recoil lugs. On the stock shown, that back of the tang should have clearance, and any other areas that would restrict rearward motion. Only the back of the recoil lug should perform this function.
