Barrel or Reamer

It seems to me that most Annies are Ammo type "Forgiving" more that most rifles is that they shoot everything decent.
It is known that they "Choke" their barrels wondering if that is the reason or is it the Annie reamer ?

The reason is that I am looking for a different reamer design from the 52 D and Lilja designs that are a little Too Tight in some instances

Thanx
Jim

For what my opinion matters I think it’s the quality of the bore more than anything else. I base this on the fact that my 1712 has a sporter chamber, yet will regularly print sub-inch groups at 100 meters with SK Rifle Match ammo.
Now that is not to say that a chamber that is ideal for certain ammunition isn’t important (because it is), it’s just that without a great barrel, it’s pretty irrelevant what the chamber is. But I’m of the opinion the “right” chamber will make a great barrel “better” (tighter or more consistent groups), while a great barrel will give good performance with a chamber of less than optimum dimensions.
