Vudoo gun works reamer info

Good afternoon you guys I was just wondering if any of you guys had any insight or any info on Vudoo gunworks reamer or if any of you guys have a reamer print that would be willing to share it

I am having a lot of extracting issues and my gunsmith told me that it could be the engraving on the lead that I might be having the most problems with but I can't figure it out as I can't get anyone at voodoo to share the reamer print with me

What model do you have and describe the extraction issues on your Vudoo.

If this is a factory rifle/ barreled action you should of contacted Vudoo and asked for support. Their support is top notch and who else would know the rifle better than them.

As far as their reamer print, that is probably proprietary information and most likely they are not going to publish it.

What ammo are you having trouble with? Will it extract a fired round?

If you are having problems extracting LIVE rounds, most match type chambers will do that. The extractor springs are not heavy enough to extract live rounds. Now if it does not extract spent cases, then the extractor spring may be too weak, or the carbon ring is causing the spent cases to be too tight.

Eley has a thin rim which causes problems for some match chambers, while other brands extract fine. As mentioned, unfired often causes issues.

My CZ-455 with a Cooper barrel (don't ask) and my 1411 Anschutz both have extraction problems with fired Eley ammo.

my 22LR Match Eachus chamber engraves to just touching the 2nd driving band on Center X, SK, R50 and I have no problems extracting live rounds in my RimX...

You can tell very easily by extracting a live round (tapping it out with a cleaning rod if your extractor wont pull it out and see how far down the bullet its engraved)

I owned a vudoo though, I never had these issue of extraction...

When Mike Bush was still affiliated with VGW, they used his RAVAGE reamer in the repeaters. Never really heard anything negative about that chamber. I bought five barreled actions for myself & customers several years ago, and never had any issues with extracting either live or fired SK or Lapua rounds out of those RAVAGE chambers. OTOH, my converted CMP 40X extractors - even with longer & stronger springs - sometimes gave me problems extracting live rounds out of Benchmark, Krieger, & Lilja titebore barrels that I'd chambered with an EPS reamer. I believe the guys at VGW got the geometry of their extractors just about perfect...

The 22 has been around for well over 100 years and you would think that by now extractor issues would be non-existent.

I am pretty sure the Ravage reamer print is propiarity to Vudoo which is why they wouldnt share it.

If you have a single shot, the last I knew they were using the 52D reamer. At least thats what my SS was chambered with.

Depending on the ammo you are using, that could be why it wont extract a live round. I have not had problems extracting Lapua/SK/Eley. Outside those brands, that could be why.

I will not extract certain rounds well, particularly Aguila. (It's not an ammo I intend to shoot, but I was given a few boxes of old Aguila match and the barrel was brand new so.... I've had no issues that I can recall with RWS or Lapua match. Eley sometimes fails to fire depending on the lot and I'm not sure if that's an ammo or ignition issue.

I have a Vudoo V22S as well and was told the same thing......Win 52D chamber.

My rifle extracts all fired cases and will not extract live rounds.

I have no complaints at all with my Vudoo.
