barrel name marking

Neighbor's friend is selling a Brux barrel. There is no marking on there. How would I know it is a true Brux.

I guess I can call them (Brux) tomorrow morning, but I wanted to ask the community.

If it's a blank it'll be stamped on the breech end.


If it's been chambered/threaded for an action, you won't be able to tell who made the blank.

Edit: If it's a blank there's no marking, that's odd. I've only had two Brux's and both were stamped. I'd call them to see if they don't mark certain barrels, but otherwise I'd probably just buy one from a vendor where there aren't any authenticity concerns.
