Barrel Mirage Shade

Have any old window blinds laying around use one of the slats with velco to attach to barrel, and if your wife saws she may have something you can use all DIY stuff

I currently use a piece of cardboard with a zip-tie at the end. I also have to use electrical tap at the muzzle: otherwise recoil moves it past the muzzle. But it works great. I'd take the aluminum shield in a heartbeat, but Sinclairs did not have them when I looked and now I'm too lazy to switch. :)

And scroll down. The Patriotic and Rattlesnake versions are petty slick. I've got a couple of the 24" ones for my long 30" barrels, but given how far a NF 12-42x hangs over the barrel I've got a couple 20" ones coming now.

Greetings,
Quickest, cheapest and custom to boot...
Hit the local fabric store, buy a roll of elastic band and some bead chain. A minute on a sewing machine to make the loops at the end. Good luck,
John
