Barrel life on the 6BR or 6Dasher??

Can any of you guys give me "Real world" figures on the barrel life of the 6BR and the Dasher using the 105 to 108s?? Thanks guys!!

A Hart 6BR 1-8 that was fed a steady diet of 30 grs. of varget with the 107 SMK was done at 2000 documented rounds fired. Started to throw unexplained wild shots & copper fouling increased. Verifed firecracking & erosion with the Hawkeye. On the other hand, my oldest 6 BR, a Shilen 1-14 using nothing but 30 grs. of N133 & the 68 Berger now has 1550 rds. fired, and the throat looks near new as verified with the borescope. No copper fouling, no wild shots, and the bullet seating depth is very close to what it was when new. So, with this in mind, I'm leaning toward the thought that long, heavy weight bullets may accelerate the wear, the price you pay for the longer distance, downrange performance. A krieger 6 BRX, used with 33 grs. of Varget and only the 107 SMK's is at 812 rds. fired and the throat looks close to new, no sign of firecracking & bullet seating depths only a few thousandths longer than when new.

My 6BR 1-14 twist pac-nor, started to notice excessive powder fouling in the throat at 1,000 rounds and at 1,500 rounds its accuracy had suffered greatly. Thanks to MR Shuster a bore scope inspection showed fire cracking in the throat. It will no longer shoot 5 shot groups in the .100's at 100 yards. but it will still shoot 1/2 moa or a bit better. I will state that i have run wide open full throttle loads with 65-68 gr bullets at 3,550 FPS MV since barrel was new. my best load crony'd at 3,515-3,530 FPS MV.
I think I'm going to set this barrel back 2" and re chamber to 6ppc. and see if it will come back to shooting.

6BR PacNor 1/8 30" 3 groove 2600 rounds 95gr, 105gr, 107gr RE 15 & Varget still shooting great 500 &600 yd. F-Class scores. 1000 yd. scores not as good, but that could well be the driver!

I won a 600 yd score match in Memphis with a Dasher barrel
that had 2500 rounds. It wasn't shooting as small a group as
it should so I had it rechambered and it went right back to
grouping.
