Thanks guys, I appreciate all of the leads. In my research I did find some close similarities in some of the theories that I found from the Australian F-CLASS team. It looks like while it is does not completely overlap it on every fine point, the basics are certainly established. So the idea I had wasn't completely new but parts of it look to be. Its pretty cool being able to look at their data. They've already done quite a bit of research so its neat to see some of the things I was questioning turn out to be tested and true.
The good news is that I had no false ideals going into this, I figured someone had caught on to the theory before me or at least were playing with the same ideas. I have still yet to see the major principal of my theory in anything I have read but there were points in theirs that I had not considered, and now believe to be true. I didn't realize the Australians were so into barrel tuning! So, that was fun. Nothing lost, knowledge gained. Once I can review all of what they are proposing to be critical elements of tuning a barrel I might have a small addition to it but I'll leave that for the next post! Jesse
