barrel diameter question

I am hoping to order a new barrel blank soon. Was wondering what barrel diameter i need to order for a savage target action. It is for the large shank what is the diameter with barrel nut and diameter with out barrel nut. Have a good friend that will thread and chamber the barrel for me hoping to try the 30br.What would be the best way to go.

Lilja has a contour called the taper82 for use with that action.

1.125'' if you are going to use the barrel nut or 1.250'' if he is going to do it up like a Remington.
