barrel dia.

I have 2 new barrels in 6mm with and 8 twist. One is .236 dia. and one is 237 dia. I plan on shooting 600 and 1000 yards.both barrels are 28 inches in length.I want to have 1 chambered in 6mmbr and one either 6brx or 6x47 what would be the best bullets for either barrel,also what barrel would be best for which cal. thanks for any help, Rudy
 
Toss a coin. Seriously it's like the old Right Guard commercial "six took stick, six took spray". Which ones better, it depends on who you talk to.

I personally am currently shooting a straight 6BR, .269 neck,.060 freebore, 1 in 8 twist Kreiger, with the Berger 105 VLD's in a .237 bore and am quite pleased with the results.

I once took a poll on this subject with knowledgeable shooters and gunsmiths,you could do a forum search) and it didn't shed much light on the subject.
