Barrel cooler

Barrel cooling device recommended to me by @Flea21 and @Mike.Hamilton0313

This thing has been awesome for cooling barrels, drying wet bores, and dust removal. Seems like a quality unit and I wish I would have had one of these long ago. Super compact and is very handy, very powerful little thing too.

Hope this helps a few of you. I did a few searches and didn't see much on these newer handheld units, only the mattress inflators.

link to product if you don't want to watch the video, just need some 1/2" ID tubing.

Had one of these Amazon units. Lasted a year and the battery would not charge. Had to discard it. But it did the job as described.

I used to use a riflehukl and that thing SUCKED!! I was using it one day with its annoying sounding motor and @Mike.Hamilton0313 came along and pulled out his cooler (this thing) and it changed my world!!! I couldn’t get rid of my rifle kill fast enough!!! Thank you again @Mike.Hamilton0313 you are a genius!! And now @Benchrest Braxton is taking it to another level!!

Yea that’s cheap crap and less airflow
Whatever, I'm sure it works about 1000% better than natural convection. (NB: It's all cheap crap; see post 2.)
plus where you gonna find a power outlet in the field??!!
At the bench at my range? In my backyard? At one of the windows in back of the house? Back deck? Dunno...
(It also has internal battery so you can use it "in the field.")

Being ever frugal, I bought a $6.99 amazon rechargeable "stroller fan" that I set up on a bench and it blows air thru my suppressors and out the end of the barrel. It cost almost nothing and I can cool two rifles down at a time, four if they're not suppressed!

After seeing this thread Im reminded of my $20 Walmart matress blower upper
it has different fittings and runs off a cell phone chargr cord so can run off a battery bank
