BARREL CONTOUR

Hey all, I am about to buy a stock and being the tight wad I am, read that poor boy I am, I am not sure how large the barrel channel should be. The rifle will be used for live varmint as well as F-class competition hopefully. Thanks in advance. Richard

I DK your exact barrel channel size, but...

I like my 'Palma' tapered Broughton SS 29' '5C ' rifled barrel.

It's accurate, well behaved over the bags; and sheds heat well during faster strings of fire.

Mine is set-up with a barrel clamp, in an aluminum stock.

My rifle pulls double-duty as a live varminter and a paper puncher.
