I was just watching Erik's friend clean his bore with a brush size 1 1/2 -2 times lager than the bore to get the carbon ring out. What size brush would I use on a .260?
Thanks

the ring aint in the bore its at the neck, so yes a bigger brush helps.
use better chemistry to clean.
clean the bore of carbon and copper, clean the chamber, then scrub the neck and just forward of the neck.
every time you should and you should never have a carbon problem
You know I’ve been on here eight years, and never heard anyone explain this with such a simple answer. What dia is your neck? Choose that caliber
the carbon ring forms just forward of where the case neck ends....so measuring a fired case and then picking the correct brush size for scrubbing the chamber from the neck forwardI was asking about the carbon ring and I guess I used the wrong term. I was asking about the chamber.
