Barrel block adhesive questions?????

If using the O-ring and epoxy glue-in method when affixing a barrel in a 2-piece split barrel block how do you separate the two when you want to change barrels? Heat? and is the block always reusable?

Exactly what kind of epoxy works best?

Anybody ever try 3M 5200 marine glue for a barrel block install?

Or wrap thin lead tape around 2 or 3 areas between the block and barrel (slightly oversized for the hole diameter) and clamp her down?

Most of the guys i know use Marine-tex. They use heat and a press to take them out. Block is reusable. May have to clean out the hole. Matt
