barns bullets

has anyone tried the Barns match bullets in the 6mmbr?

Others are getting hard to find and wondered if anyone
here has tried the Barns and if so,how did they work? Thanks

I tried them, they did ok but were not as accurate as my custom bullets. They may shoot better for you as every barrel likes something different.PERSONALLY I WOULD GIVE THEM A TRY FOR NOW TILL YOU CAN GET WHAT YOU WANT. yOU COULD ALSO TRY GUNBOT.COM AND SEE IF ANYONE HAS BERGERS IN STOCK.Sorry caps lock turned on.

So what 6mm bullets (other than Barnes) are you looking for and the purpose???

Cocopuff, my Savage Model 12 LRPV in 6BR loves them! (RBLP, 1 in 12" twist, 12-42 BR Nightforce)

I've just ordered another 1,000 of them from Sinclair (@ $19.99 per hundred). I load Lapua 6 BR brass (no neck turn) with 32.5 grains of Varget, CCI BR-4 primer, and Barnes 68 grain flat base Match Burners (Product #30205).

I shoot this load/gun at 100 & 200 yd BR for score in factory class. At a fun shoot last weekend I broke 5 out of 10 dum-dum suckers (with only 10 rounds on the table and no sighter shots) at 200 yards in moderate afternoon wind! For a rookie BR shooter, I'm pretty proud of these cheap Barnes bullets!

Great load in my gun! I hope these will work in your gun for your purpose! John
