Have heard that barnes 180-225 gr Bullets need at least 0.030 off lands, yes or no.

I believe that Barnes recommends that you seat their bullets thirty to fifty thou. from the lands. Fifty thousandths worked best in my custom 257 WBY using the 100gr triple shocks.
We went out on Thursday nite. My friend had a hind poke it head around the manuka bush at 220m. He popped it in the eye . Dead as a door nail. Loaded with 25gr BM2. Not a hot load but as you can see very accurate. Shooting with Browning X Bolt in 223.Devastating pill.Clean our barrels with good old kerosine.
