Barnes 80 grain TTSX in .243 loads.

Anybody shooting these yet in their .243? Looking for some powder info. Rifle to be used for deer hunting. I love the TTSX bullets for deer in other calibers.

Barnes has on line info;
http://www.barnesbullets.com/information/load-data/

The TTSX IS the same data as the TSX, MRX for the same bullet weight ;D

i am currently using 85tsx and it does nothing more than all the others DRT.

i used 87vmax -80 varminter,85hpbt,90 gameking from sierra-87's from hornady-90gr scenars all with the same results.

just put it where it belongs.

H4350 is my powder of choice

+1 on H4350. Use it in a .243 M11 Savage. Old fashioned trigger but I don`t want an AccuTrigger when wearing gloves on a cold November day.

Put three 80 gr TTSX into 1 3/8 inch at 200 metres. Used 45.0 gr H4350 with a COAL of 2.700. Chronod at 3400 fps. This is near max so approach it with caution.

Barnes website calls for 45.5 max of H4350 which I thought was on the higher side. I like your 45 grain load better. This 700 Remy I picked up is more of a lite weight carry/walking rifle with its 22 inch barrel that will be used after the first day of deer season here in Pa. Thanks everybody for the help!
