Barnard action question

Couple questions about the trigger.

One. Has anyone changed out a trigger spring kit on a Banard p? if so any special I need to know?

I know I can put a jewell on,ddoes anyone know if a Bix and andy eill work?

Thanks

Personally I like the Barnard trigger. Adjustable down to 8oz. or so if sear adjustment is also kept in check. Double or single stage pull, very versatile. The Jewel I had broke after 1500 rounds or so (after flushing annually). Cost $130 for repair. In looking inside it did not appear as if any part of it was hardened. Sold it and never looked back.

Why?
Clean it & adjust it properly to the configuration that suites your fancy.
(If, you aren't accustomed to a two stage,I'd suggest you configure it to a 30/70 first/second stage configuration so you won't PULL through the first stage).

A Jewell would not be my choice &/or a BNA wouldn't be my second choice.

BnA are making triggers for Barnard P. I understand the production run is now and no hanger is needed.
I've got one on order through Barnard NZ.
I'm getting one....Barnard trigger is ok and robust IME but next to my kelblys...nah.

Do you know IF these BnA triggers for Barnard Actions will work with the Barnard model GP action ?

We are glad to present the newest addition to our product line. We developed a trigger for the "Barnard P" Action, based on our top model, the Remington 700 Competition trigger. Due to the similarity in design, the trigger comes with the same low and consistent pull weight as well as the crisp let-off. You can see and try the trigger on the booth of our US importer Bullet Central.
