Banning Of PD Shooting In Co.

Tommie said:
Oldroper,

Ok, maybe I missed it. Which link shows a local media medium reporting the death of animals in the Denver zoo due to bubonic plague?

Tom

Tom, I don't mean to be a wise guy I live south of Denver about 7500ft and we also have a pretty good population of squirrels and nobody touches a dead one. As to Denver sure there are PD and other rodents close to Denver that can cause the plague and every year there are warnings and I'm sure the schools also warns the chrildren since it is a problem.

I'm surprised you sister didn't see the PD before moving to Denver they seem to attract the tourist. Well good luck

Tyranny of the majority.

A good reason to keep educating the non-shooting public, making friends with them, and bringing as many of 'em into the shooting sports as possible. Across the country, most folks don't hunt. If they truly turned against hunters, it could be very bad for us.

I sincerely hope that my sons and their sons are able to hunt, but it's not a sure thing.

Regards, Guy

A few nights ago the Denver news reported that a dog town in Boulder tested positive for plague. There response was to sprinkle flea and tick powder in the town. What would be there response to Boulder dam cracking or a military invasion?

New development in our fight to Save Our Sport. We just got our petition hosted online. We are now accepting electronic signatures. Please go to http://www.FinsandFurOutdoors.net Click on "Prairie Dog Petition" in the column on the LH side of the page.
All states are welcome to sign. We need to stop this before it spreads to other states!

Hey guys and gals,
It appears that this issue may NOT be dead. Check out this story I found on nrahunterrights.org:
You'll have to copy the address as it has some underscores and I can't get a link to work as the underlining negates the underscores. www. gjsentinel.com/news/content/news/stories/2008/05/06/050708_1a_Prarie_dogs.html. Maybe the feds will make the determination that Colorado's DOW did in that shooting the pd's has no negative effect. Guess we'll have to wait and see on this study. Oh, and it's going to be a 2 year study.
