Ballpark price on a Shilen DGA action?

I apoligize in advance if this is the wrong place for this.

I ran across a Shilen DGA actioned rifle yesterday at the local gunshop serial #11** chambered instandard .22-250. They are asking $2,300 for this gun. Is that in the range that it should be or is it a little high? I'm assuming the barrel is shot out too.

I've been looking to get a nice custom action for a while, but don't know if this one would be worth it or not.

The repeater DGAs with the custom woodstocks are normally below $2000. I have seen several receivers for $600.

My sentiments mirror Butch's. I feel $2300 is way too much ( without seeing the rifle ). They were nice rifles, but you can go to The Shooters Corner web site and see modern varmint & BR guns with top of the line components and modern BR machining for about 2/3rds of that price.
