I’ll have to give it a try. Do you use it in a ultrasonic cleaner?

Couple of wet patches is all that's required. Dry and lube. I learned this years ago from a multi time national ML champion. It's one of those things, so easy it seems impossible.

I used it once. It smelled like linburger cheese. Nope, nada, aint. Not using something that smells like a goats butt on my gun. Sorry.

Alright! Now I HAVE to ask! When did it occur to you that it was necessary to sniff a goat’s butt?

See post #16. I encountered the front end first. After he knocked me on my butt and stomped on me, he straddled me and reversed fields. My face was right there. I didn't have much choice. I was three years old or so and did not think about killing him right htere. Those thoughts came later. I do not like goats.

In my limited experience with goats, the ass end doesn’t smell any worse than the rest of the goat.

I didnt think it would provoke such a response. Im not a die hard fisherman, but is says fishing marine use on the bottle haha..so i tried it..
As i mentioned i blew all the extra off with a air compressor and blow gun.
Then i used my Mil-Comm TW25B Gun Grease for lubricant..
Again i apply it and blow off with compressed air
Im 100% completely fine with my reel cleaning process..my guns cost 300x's more then my fishing equipment and i trusted these products for many years in the same condition my guns are in when afeild. If it cleans and protects a 350$ trigger. Im gonna say its fine on a 150$ fishing reel.
good enough for my needs. Besides i dont need to run out and spend another 24$ on a product because someone wrote fishing, and reels, on the bottle
Oh and personally when i smell Ballistol i get a dryspot in the back of my throat and dry heaves. Like cleaning up dog puke .it smells like a&& haha
I cant even leave a rag laying around i find the odor gross and bothersome..
But its a good product so i will continue to use it inspite of my bodies reaction
