Ballistics Program Group Buy

Ok Fellows,

Here's what I'm intending to do. I'm going to turn this list into Patagonia Wed. the 15th of Aug. I've got 15 folk more than enough for the large discount!

But I'm going to start another list to keep the group buy going for those who maybe haven't seen it yet.

I'm doing this because there are several of us who are ready and I don't want to keep you waiting forever!

I googled the Patagonia ballistics and could not find anything. I was wondering if it was somehow better than the Nightforce software. At $77 it is still more than the full retail price of the NF stuff, and NF says their product is the best there is period. They're sending me a copy of it and I'll letcha know what I think when I get it.

The Patagonia system is a complete and comprehensive program.

I don't want to post everything out in the open a group buy is supposed to be for those who are interested enough to at least send me an e-mail. I don't think that's to much to ask!

Several of the guys who've used it over on the Hide have had nothing but good things to say about Patagonia.

It's more than just a trajectory calulator. There's a library of loads with over 21,000 entries so far and it's updated free every 3 to 4 months. There's log books for data entry and two or three other programs.

In three to four months their will be a mobile version they are working on now. It will be in pocket pc format so it will sync up with the desk top software!

Thanks for the reply Chuck. A few things, and this is just a matter of MY opinion, but if I were trying to get guys involved I'd have advertised something about the program to get them interested. I would have also done a little research about the software to make sure it was the route I wanted to go. For the rest of what I wanted to comment to you about I'll send you a PM.
