ballistics, air density, altitude: a general formula?

This is probably not of great use to those of you in the BR crowd, but the issue recently came up as to whether there is a general formula or trend that can explain the ballistic effects of reduced air density.

I did some playing around with the numbers, and came up with a general model, the details of which can be found at http://www.snipershide.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=001347;p=1#000014

I'm very sure that it's a velocity- and BC-dependent pattern, so everyone's pet load would need its own factors calculated, but the good news is that it seems to give a MOA correction for any distance, at any altitude, with temperature, humidity, etc accounted for).

I'd love to get some feedback, since I know there are some sharp people that hang out here.
