Ballistic calculator

I’m reloading some 30-06 and need a ballistic calculator that I can give specific data; bullet type/wt powder type, amount of powder etc. to obtain bullet drop at specific yardages, 100,200,300,400etc
All that I’ve seen so far seem to be do factory Ammo.
Any help would be appreciated!

Any of the ballistics calculators mentioned will give you trajectories IF you have the actual velocity. You are basically asking for a SW package like Quickload to input the powder, bullet etc. Even with Quickload you will have to measure muzzle velocity for accurate trajectories.

It sounds like you are describing a two-step cycle. One: estimate your new velocity based on change of powder charge and then Two: calculate drop.

Step 1 can be made easier by using this onlinene velocity estimation tool: http://shootersnotes.com/velocities-and-pressures/velocity-estimator/

Step 2 can be done with just about any of the trajectory calculators using the bullet BC and the estimated velocity from Step 1.

This is a good answer, much more tailored to what the OP had in mind, IMO. But, as a new forum member I've got a bigger question that relates to this ballistics thread and another with someone asking a question about the accuracy life of nickel plated brass.

Is it common on this site for someone to start a topic by asking a question and then disappearing after members provide a slew of thoughtful responses?

It's common on all the forums I participate in.
Personally, I think it's the way natural conversations go.
For some, it drives them bat s**t.
