I just read here on this forum that Bald Eagle rests are no longer being manufactured.

That is correct. They are no longer making rest.
I contacted them around a year ago and he was trying to sell the rest part of the business. He did not say why.

That is absolutely wrong. He did however sell nearly all of his business and his rights to an individual who will advertise and sell the Bald Eagle Rest and many other Bill Gebhart products.
