Balancing your handwheels

Anybody balance their handwheels? I've been meaning to do this for a while but keep tossing around methods in my head that will be least intrusive. I'm tired of the weight of the handle affecting feel.
how bout you take it to the tire shop and have them put it on the spin balancer machine:D

seriously ive seen many cast pulleys for v belts that have been balanced and have the holes drilled in them from balancing-- also they do have the magnetic weights to do this with

Again, I have always thought if I can spin it I can balance it; but there is kinetic balancing, there is dynamic balancing and there has always been static balancing from the beginning. If you are referring to a feed on lathe I suggest you use magnets. Not a good ideal to make them permanent unless you glue then; if you are going to use magnets weigh them, the magnets can be used to hold extra weight when adding weight. And then there is trimming to decrease weight.

Can you please post some detailed pictures of your entire shop?

As usual not much help, but many replies.
Just set the wheel up on live centres or a mandrel with a little clearance or a shaft on bearing-blocks and the heavy spot will fall.
Add weight or drill out, which ever is suitable.
