Baking laminated stock ?

Just sprayed my new laminated stock with PPG Duracryl lacquer and put in oven to bake. Oven is heated with 4 100 watt light bulbs. Trying to stop humidity problems and help harden finish.
Anyone have an idea about how long to leave in oven? Oven holds 170 degrees.
Thanks

When I spray stocks with auto clear coat I just hang em by the wood stove overnight, and they seem hard as the hubs of hell by morning....
I imagine overnight in your stove would accomplish the same results....

I wouldnt even bother to bake it. I used to bake cars for 1hr at 140 degree. Sometimes with wood you'll get solvent popping since the wood will expell moisture. I air dry all my stocks. Ive been using Glasurit HS clear and it looks up like no other finish. I dropped a cured stock from 4 ft and no marks at all. God was I lucky.

Thanks for the advice. I was worried that the heat could cause problems with the glue used to laminate stock.
I might use one bulb and leave in in for a short period just to help with the high humidity here.

Stay with 2 part poly paint. Lacquer is old school. It will scratch easy and wont hold up to solvents. The new clears now can be free from dust in 2 mins. You cant go wrong with that.
