Bag rider for PRS stock

The Magpul PRS probably wasn’t intended to be used with a bag but I’m using one during load development. They included M-Lok slots on the bottom so that was helpful. Don’t know why that (removable) bottom piece was molded at a 5 degree angle, they could have just as easily made it parallel to the bore. So I made this one out of delrin.

Looks great! Ive been trying to hunt down an AR stock that is parallel to the bore. Forgive my stupidity, but if that piece is removable it looks like that would make it parallel to the bore?

Almost. With that removed I think the angle was only 1 degree. I was already into making the thing so I went ahead and finished it.
Someone makes a bag rider for an AR stock. I think it is EGW.
Yup, found it.

Nice! I like that A2 bag rider. I have a picatinny bag rider for the handguard from the urban rifleman. Really like it.

Nice work. Would you mind sharing how you attached it to the stock? I've given a lot of thought to making a bag rider for The McMillan A5 stock, which also has a highly angled toe (I have several F-TR rifles with A5 stocks). I can think of several different ways to attach such a device, but it would be critical that the bag rider not twist out of parallel with the toe during use. One could 3D print a bag rider with a groove that would fit over the toe on either side, the use either the sling stud mount or some screrws to hold it in place. I wouldn't even be surprised if a strip of velcro might do the job. Just curious how you attached it.

Here are a few more options:

My son wanted that stock. I did the build and am doing the load development. I prefer a parallel surface. I get enough vertical with my NEO.
