Bad Day at Black Rock

As most of you know I was not happy with the performance of my new .204 Ruger in Texas last week shooting 39SBK's and Varget..

So I ordered powder X and bullet Y to solve my big problems..


When the powder and bullets got here, I tried to communicate with the bullet mfg, twice to get a maximum load..from them, I was told they were working on it)


Called the powder people and they did not have that bullet in their data base yet..


I am not an idiot, I can work up my own loads, it is just amazing that these two vendors could not help...one bit


What if I was a first time reloader...

Chuckw2 Try some Reloader 10x. 24.5 grains for starters w/the 39 Sierras. Seat the bullet w/the base of the bullet at the neck and shoulder junction. This is deep, but most 204s seem to favor deep seating.
