I've been spoiled in the past by being able to just go to Powder Valley's website and order everything I need under one Haz Mat and shipping. In fact a couple of us would go together, place an order and split the cost of those fees, because they always had what each of us needed.
Well, welcome to the post election blues. Now to get what I want for the 2009 season I'm being forced to go to multiple websites, and pay multiple shipping charges and even multiple Haz Mat charges,OUCH!!!), or wait it out in the hopes that eventually things will get back in stock. However then some things that were in stock then might not be so there you are again.
Some of the problems encountered are shortages of powder in 8 pound kegs, bullets in 500 bulk boxes, shortage of primers, brass, etc. etc. etc.
Not to mention watching prices continually on the rise, and fear of the rumored super hike in taxes on components etc. under Obama which may come to pass.
If I would have known a month before the election I would have bought $10,000,yes, I said $10,000!!!!!!) worth of Magpul 30 round P Mags for $12.25 each, or even less for that many. One week after the election I could have resold all of them in one day,yes, I said one day!!!!) for $15.95 or more each, and turned a quick cool $3000 bucks plus profit in one day!!!!!
Is this Obama hysteria a bit nuts? Probably, but you never know.
So I know you all are in the same boat, so what are your plans to resupply yourselves for this year? Buy what you normally would? Twice as much? Or like a squirrel hoard even more nuts just in case????
