I made a quick mod to the riser after a discussion with "lawrence97" for tilt adjustment. In the manual, it indicates the way to adjust the flow through the smaller trickler tube is the shim it. Since there was plenty of room on the rear wing, I put in a 1/4"-20 nylon thumb screw, so that you didn't have to shim. Also, I believe that earlier version (mine does), had a 1/4"-20 hole in the unit, so I also through in a set screw to fill the hole. Later version, it appears that they did away with the hole and just put in a taller rubber bumper. Either way, the thumb screw should enable the adjustment that you need.

I'll try to get some updated pic's posted to the thread this weekend.

Thanks Jim. That’s what had me curious as I looked at the bottom of mine and saw no place to put a screw.

Hello Kevin,

I've found that with some powders, it can spray a few graduals outside of the cup when dispensing. Since the unit is tilted up in the front, it moved the nozzle up. I spun up a little extension that you can push into the end of your nozzle to control it. Just take a letter "R" drill and ream out the hole to push it in. For me, the hole wasn't too concentric, so I reamed it out.

Sounds good and the 419 info helps. You need it to support the triangle scale pan.

One more thing, if you had the Area 419 cup and base (from your V3) they (area 419) are not making a different plate for the V4 so this mod is the way to go! You can still use the base (419) with this enclosure as it keeps it centered and not off-set as the OEM enclosure does.

Extra funnel should have been with the V4 as it throws powder everywhere!!
