Autotrickler Bluetooth not connecting

The scale is a standalone unit. The V4 trickler user interface is via an app loaded on an external device (smart phone/tablet). It is convenient, and lowers cost, but does expose the user to problems associated with Bluetooth connectivity and software operating systems interoperability. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a dedicated (non Bluetooth) interface offered in the near future.

As far as problems connecting, I've had the AT be really slow to (or refuse to) connect if you have other Bluetooth devices running concurrently. It seems to connect better if it's the sole device the phone sees. You can reconnect the other stuff later without issue (well, at least I can.)

I’m always behind the curve, it took me forever to finally acquire the fx120 and now days I use the same Harrell’s power thrower and Dandy trickler I use for my tuned beam scales. I doubt I’ll ever change this system for anything that requires an App to do more than initial set up and even that pisses me off.

My v3 does this from time to time and like others I unplug it for a while and plug it back in and it will connect. The app is nice while it is working but I wish it wasn't reliant on it to run.
