Aurora Borealis tonight!

I guess we oughta keep in mind that our eyes didn't used to see how profound the visual image is with the incredible cameras that most of us are packing around now with our phones.

Years ago, when I was up in Canada and Alaska I saw the Northern lights, but didn't know enough to take a pic with a slow speed shutter on my Minolta camera. Now my iPhone does it automatically. jd

Not sure why all the laughs in response to this. It really does mess with GPS function. During normal field work I typically till every other pass, then come back and till the other passes. This lets me get closer to the headland before raising the disc while turning around, and makes it unnecessary to gear down to turn. View attachment 1554040View attachment 1554041

When this suddenly decides it wants to drift several feet off course, I have to come back to the same pass to cover the little strip that got missed. If it becomes obvious that GPS is going to be absent for awhile, I go back to manual and take every pass back to back. A minor annoyance any other day, but definitely frustrating when the planter is only a couple rounds behind.
I had to switch satellites a week ago.
Called jd tech guy and he fixed it in a few minutes...that was something to do with Israel I guess. Might check your updates??

Been hearing lots about this in the local TV news, but all we have here in northern York County PA is overcast. Fortunately, I have seen this show before, so while I wanted to see this one too, I'll survive.
