Hi All,
Well, you certainly COULD have asked for nicer weather for our August Long-Range and Team match weekend. You wouldn't get it, but you could ask...
It was HOT and HUMID both days.
The match format was a 2 x 1000 individual match plus a two-person team match each day. The F-Class shooters had added shots to qualify for their V-2 series point accumulation.
On the F-Class side, Master Class shooter Todd Norfleet posted a nice 840-35X for the F-T/R win. He has been on fire lately, and is probably due an upgrade from the NRA. Over in F-Open, Corey Woods posted a nice 830-22X for the Open win. Nice going Marine!
On the sling side, Rich Kussman led the way with a nice 796-45X score using his Any Sight Rifle. Nicely done Rich! In the Master Class, Steve Palmieri did an excellent job, shooting High Master scores all weekend. Well done Steve! Keep up the smooth shooting!
The detailed results files can be found at: https://brpc-de.com/2022-high-power-rifle-match-results/
A HUGE Thank You to everyone who helps set-up and tear down the targets -we couldn't do it without YOU!
Our next match will be a 300 Meter International Prone Match (shot as a fun match on the 300 yard reduced target), on Saturday, September 10th, and a 'regular' 3 x 600 yard Mid-Range Match on Sunday September 11th.
Hope to see you there!
Frank
