Attaching aftermarket bolt knop to handle??

What is the preferred method to secure a bolt knob to the threaded bolt handle? Is hand tight enough or should Blue Loctite be used? I have a Badger bolt knob and a PT&G threaded bolt and wondering what is the norm for this. Thanks

I use a small amount of "blue" on one or two threads as insurance.

Thank you Lapua40x, I figured that was all that was needed but did not know if it needed to be somehow more securely fastened. Appreciate the reply.

I use a small amount of waxed dental floss wrapped on the threads. Acts like Teflon tape on pipe threads.
