AtN scopes?

I have never heard of the brand. For $500 bucks I would want a little better or should I say a little more well known scope.
I have Nightforce and Weavers and have been very pleased with their performance. The Luppys that I own, two 36X, have had repeated problems. Went to Weavers for the straight 36X and also the Grand Slams for my dog shooting and could not be happier with their performance. Weavers are hard to beat for the buck. What application are you going to use the scope for?

im looking to use it for 600-1000 yrd turnys. from what i hear night force is the scope mostly used in f class shooting.

ATN gets their scopes in Russia, not really grade A optics either. Fot $500 you can get any weaver you would like and also some of the 6-20x40 leupolds.

Russia? god just what i want a russian p.o.s. lol i didnt know they were "russian" that alone is a turn off. back to the drawing board lol. probably go with a valdada scopes as i here they are supirior to any thing else on the market. but as we no its pretty pricey

Just chiming in on the Valdada/IOR optics. I've had real good service out of mine. 3 pairs of binos and 2 scopes.

FYI, I've heard that Valentino is having some problems w/ the new scopes. QC seems to be going South on them. I just purchased an IOR 10X56 Tactical and haven't had any headaches at all. It's on a Barrett .50 right now and seems to be holding up very well. However there may be some crappy ones running around. You may want to find an older one used to avoid any complications.

The only part that is made in Russia,the Ukraine actually) is the tube.The optics are German and the units are assembled in the US.I have an ATN scope,and it is very acceptable for 1000 yrd.It is not in the same league as the S+ B or the Nightforce,but it is a third of the price!The BDC is very nice on the ATN and works well.If you want a cheap robust scope then I would recommend them,if you are after the ultimate in optic quality then buy a S+B or Nightforce.
